    5.4 vs. 6.2

Is there really a big difference? Aside from the numbers on paper, can you really feel it in the seat of your pants? Who's driven both? I have the 5.4 and while I wish I had a little more power it is enough for me.

Someone just asked me this on Facebook today. I told them I've never driven a 5.4 so I have no idea what the difference is. I do know that my 6.2 gets up and goes pretty damn good though!

I have driven both, and the 5.4 feels absolutely anemic compared against the 6.2L.

I agree, sold a freind of mine a 5.4 and you can definately tell the difference. We were running up I-17 to Lake Pleasant and it was no contest.

I have driven both. The 6.2 definitely has more grunt but honestly with the 4:10 gearing both are quite impressive. I am interested to compare the Eco-boost with the others. I have the 5.4 cause I didn't want to wait or pay the premium they wanted at the time for ordering the 2010 6.2l one thing I don't like about the 6.2l is that it is a full iron block which makes it a big boat anchor in a truck that is already quite heavy. I was a fan of the 5.4l before the Raptor even came out and Shelby seemed to do pretty good with them also. Im sure the new motor line-up is very good but it would be hard to not look at the eco-boost if I were in the market for a new one.
