Ford’s (http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/category/manufacturers/ford) new F-150 Raptor has dumped its V8 in favor of a turbocharged V6 and a company executive has let slip how much power it will make.
During this past weekend’s 24 Hours of Daytona, Raj Nair, Ford Global Product Development Vice President, revealed during a televised interview that the new Raptor will make 450 hp. That power will come from the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, which currently makes 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque in its most powerful application.
