Ok, so it sounds like a few '11 Raptors are getting a clunk from the rear end. Who has taken theirs in, and what was the fix? :(

Mine is at the dealer right now for this! They are inspecting the rear end and think they may have found the issue. I'll report back when I get more info. My friend Bill up in Reno has a couple of Raptors and his '11 4 door has the exact same clunk as mine.

My truck is still at the dealer. They did the driveshaft TSB SSM 21779 for the rear end clunk. I'm also having some issues with the ABS/Off Road Mode fault/Down hill decent fault errors. Looks like it's from a few faulty connections on the wiring harness and they are going to replace the entire harness.

So is it all good now?

It's still at the shop. Apparently still waiting on the wiring harness. Not happy. :(

Picked the truck up today. So far no clunk and no errors.

Wow, that really sucks about the wiring harness. Hopefully the tech took his time when replacing it. Lots of opportunity for future issues (and rattles) if he rushed it I would think.

The clunk is back. I guess they didn't put enough grease in it. :shaking:

Damn. I wouldn't be a happy camper either. Especially when you heard the clunk again for the first time after picking it up after all that time...

They greased the shaft and it came back each time after a few days.
I am waiting on their tch people to come up with a solution..........hopefully before to much longer.
As it is very annoying.

Frank, I got word from my dealer that the engineers are building a new driveshaft as we speak to fix the problem. Should be available soon. Just got mine back from the dealer (again) for the clunk and they just greased it again and sent me on my way till the new DS comes out.
